I’m absolutely thrilled to reveal my new website, designed by the unmatched @gaildvillanueva!
To give you some insight into the detail work she did here: the flowers by the skull are the same as the flowers in my tattoo. My tattoo is also of a bee, and you can see the glorious little bees all over the skull. The paper the skull is made of is covered with my favorite excerpts from STRANGE BEASTS. And the skull itself–which she came up with entirely separately from the phenomenal cover Zach Meyer illustrated for STRANGE BEASTS!–represents the gothic vibes in my work, where the flowers represent its lushness. And she captured my affection for themes of transmutation/transformation with the paper skull itself! Then, of course, there is my love of fountain pens.
